This project was born from my fascination with the Golden Record that NASA sent into space in 1977 with sounds and images that were intended to be a portrait of diversity and culture on earth.

Through this peculiar representation of humanity, Cara-B reflects on issues such as the power of scientific discourse to produce revisions of the world, the future and humanity, the evolution of the concept of the archive and the resignification of borders in the rhetoric of space colonialism.

The piece tries to shed light on issues such as the tension between official memory and vernacular memory, the technological mediation of memory or the rhetorical violence exercised by certain types of archives.

All this is done through a computer screen format that displays content from browsers, word processors, video applications and other interfaces that allow to show and create at the same time, producing the feeling that the viewer is watching a real-time revelation of the mental process and the construction of the piece at the same time.
